Account Manager, Office Supplies

We are seeking a sales professional with proven B2B, outside sales experience in the office products industry who would interested in continuing their career in the sunny, TAX FREE Cayman Islands!

Our client is a premier provider of office products and supplies, consumables and technology based in Grand Cayman. With more than twenty years of history, their customer base includes a wide range of local and international companies across verticals including banking, investment and financial services, legal, government, education, hospitality and more. 

On their behalf, we are searching an experienced sales professional with demonstrable success in the office supplies industry to join their sales and account management team in Grand Cayman. This will be a great opportunity for the right person /at the right time who would have interest in gaining international experience alongside a strong team of local and international expatriate staff on the Island.

The post holder will be expected to:

  • Prospect for new business opportunities, schedule meetings and conduct presentations on company offerings in the area of office supplies, consumables and related office products
  • Work with customers to analyze needs and create proposals to address those needs effectively while negotiating pricing and other terms 
  • Maintain and generate new business within existing customer accounts
  • Be self-motivated, ensuring activity levels generate results that achieve /exceed targets 
  • Participate in self development and training, ensuring current product knowledge and keeping abreast of new and emerging office product lines
Qualifications and experience required:
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven business to business, outside sales experience in the office products industry, selling up to C-level
  • Demonstrable success in achieving/exceeding sales quotas/targets in the office products industry (supplies and consumables)
  • Proven ability to source leads, cold call, identify business needs, turn prospects into customers, close sales, account management - retention and growth
  • Completion of structured sales training course(s)
  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in Business, Marketing or related field preferred
